That works on detecting fonts too: If I catch a well known font, I agonize trying to remember its name. It’s the mental zeno paradox: I’m almost there, forever.

Comes computers to the rescue: Imagine a screensaver that mines all fonts I have on my system, and randomly displays the name of the font using the font.

ok, maybe it won’t work with dingbat fonts, but I assume just the randomness + free time would be enough to fix my mental impairment.

at least for fonts. I thought of a random address book item + flickr also, but that would look lame in the office.
