outfoxed
.
every single subway ad here in NYC is written over by the users. i pay a lot of attention to the messages, because they tell me the american opinion better than the media conglomerates, and brings me relief, because people know what’s going on.
.
this one i found on the lorimer station… it was an ad for fox news.
.

.
the television here is sicken to the core. to compare american news and international news (both about america), you can realize how the american population has been living in a bubble, their opinion carefully controlled.

from roger’s building. click to zoom.

doing laundry… maybe is the lack of good entertainment (no magazines, late night and white trash t.v.) but the dryer machine always hipnotizes me.

graffitti at 34 subway station, i guess.

killer app
.
a girl drops her cellphone on the subway track, jumps to catch it, and dies struck by the train.
.
this makes me think of the people that used to answer the anchorman greetings from the tv news, or earlier, when people got amazed about how a whole opera could fit in a tiny box.
.
and of course, a simple sync feature (how about, a cellphone takes pictures, voice, voicemail, messages, IM and such… but i can’t even backup the numbers i have) would help getting rid of thoughts like “i can’t afford to lose it, my life is all there!”
