cosmopod is a safari plugin that adds a lil icon on top of the browser window that highlights when detects a flash video on the page. You can then click to convert to itunes.

Hi, first of all I’m a happy cosmopod customer… Thanks for the good work.

Below, some suggestions… The idea is to use cosmopod as a click-now/watch-later kind of thing, so I can watch what my friends are talking but keep my focus at work.

1. automate the settings: convert all files as tv show, "cosmopod". That way I can subscribe to the tv show on my iphone, and have always the latest ones after I sync. Movie files - the current default - have to be transferred manually, no good.
2. recognize embedded youtube videos, also. nowadays I need to click the embedded file, then pause the original youtube video, click the cosmopod button, then close the window.
3. can you recognize youtube videos on google reader too? plz?
4. add the original youtube URL to the comments, in case I want to retrace my steps.

I take cosmopod as a video version of instapaper… as instapaper collects texts to read later, my goal is to use cosmopod to watch all collected videos in a row, commuting back from work. Any automated step to help me create this workflow, the better.

incomplete, I still gotta write about the songs… the jukebox is working, tho.

this song is so obscure I don’t even have it’s actual name… just 800.03.mp3, and that’s it.
how I feel: a cyborg rechecking its peripherals before a procedure. a subroutine. grey, cold, and monotone. detached and snobby.
also check: the “automatuch”, or something like that. the different voices for different subroutines.

how I feel: powerful, but headed to a fall. doomed. scorpio people are short-sighted, you know. feel like placing a bet you can’t cover. pokerface all around.

o panther nem funcionou… tudo o que fiz hoje foi mudar o hd (de 6 pra 30 Gb) e repassar as três personalidades do cumputer (betatester, jeff e guest) para lá.

tecnicamente, só precisei startar pelo hd novo, instalar o jaguar, criar as 3 personalidades, e depois reestartar pelo hd antigo, e mover os diretórios de cada personalidade de um hd para outro (obviamente, movia os do jeff na personalidade jeff, os do betatester na personalidade betatester… para preservar as permissões). e depois mover os Applications de lá pra cá.

believe me, tudo funcionou a contento. photoshop, corel, etc. ainda não testei o dreamweaver (deixa eu ver agora…) e o único que deu xilique foi o safari, vc precisa ir no system update e baixá-lo novamente (e ical, e quicktime). mas uma vez feito, todos os links são os mesmos. e cookies, etc. o mesmo.

ah, o dreamweaver tá pedindo serial number. whatever…

e assim foi meu domingo, querido diário… ;)

estou numas de me livrar do palm… pq tenho lido os sites que curto no próprio computer (os sistema de tabs do safari simplifica muito o processo), datas e contatos podem ser escritos na mão e depois repassados (in fact, é muito mais organizado vc tomar um horário do dia para se pôr a par dos seus updates que a cada momento você refazer sua rota, on the fly) e a única coisa que me impedia de jogá-lo fora era achar uma maneira de imprimir meus contatos.

bem, ok que não tô conseguindo repassar meus contatos do palm pro address book desde que migrei de personalidade, mas assim que resolver esse problema, posso imprimi-los lindamente em formato rolodex com um app que achei agora…

claro, claro, não agora, estou me colocando como um cliente também e tô tentando terminar com outros agora…

ao mudar de personalidade no mac, de alguma maneira recuperei meus links do explorer… e como gerenciá-los no safari é bem mais intuitivo, estou merging the databases.

em breve novos links por aqui… muita coisa boa e guardada…

minha personalidade no mac tava bichada, eu não conseguia dar logout ou acessar a rede (160 Gb numa rede microsoft), então decidi criar uma nova e migrar para lá.

bom, migrei. mails, icq, documentos, imagens, favoritos do safari, vídeos…
.
mas perdi todos meus contatos do address book. calma, ainda os tenho no palm, mas tô walking on thin ice, here. sem backup for now.

devagar. e. sempre. mas pelo menos tenho acesso aos meus mp3s again…
