i use front row heavily on my G5 machine… It’s the best way to watch videopodcasts so far

every time I need to install a new version, I have to resort to andrew escobar’s front row enabler, because somehow someone at apple marketing dept. decided that I can’t have it, even if works pretty well on my machine - and since they don’t sell the app, but give it for free on their site, it can’t even be called piracy, can it?

till now, I blindly update my machine every time apple’s asks me to. it’s been a flawless process, with no worries so far.

but my last update crippled my ability to use front row, again. to be picky on words, it’s not exactly an update, but a downgrade.
.
that’s a tipping point for me, because now I have to watch out and escrutinize what apple offers me, and that’s no fun. as far as I can remember, this distrust is what made me leave microsoft solutions for better shores.

I just realized that the pcast:// solution that automatically subscribes to the podcast works both in mac and in windows if you have itunes installed.
