the author of this site reunited 300 icons from different websites to judge it. it was: arrows, posts, comments, mail, bullets, print and carts.

nevermind his conclusions, i loved all those tiny icons packed together, it has a “mundane-stuff-in-a-canvas” quality.

and thinking about it, is there any other quintessencial icon on websites? i thought of edit/preferences, login, logout, new and wishlist. it would be cool to assign letters fr it and build different sets of dingbats fonts for it…

it seemed like a smart bet to pay $20 on an used laser printer… the policial dep. was in NY, so I could retrieve the goods in person.

things started to get bleacker when I realized that’s the STATE of NY, on farmingdale. add &24 plus $12 to transportation so (jeff did it to me, reliable guy!), and since the taxes weren’t said at first, and my bank account was nearly rock-bottom already, i paid $5.93 in taxes plus probably $30 in overdaft (i didn’t checked out my bank statement yet, I in a futile attempt to keep the shröedinger cat, shröedingly).

and I didn’t even tested the machine! wish me luck. or claim me stupid, whatever. :-/
